Pashminas 29 Jan 2007
Annalise Barbieri, fashion correspondent at the New Statesman, says that pashminas never really go out of style due to their warmth and versatility.
She's been comparing notes with Souda Koul who grew up in Kashmir where the shawls are spun and embroidered by women, forming one of the few sources of personal wealth a woman has after marriage.
The reporter is Claudia Hammond.
