The Little Black Dress - classic chic 23 Mar 2006
The Duchess of Windsor, Wallace Simpson, once said in its praise 'When the little black dress is right, there is nothing else to wear in its place'. As a new designer exhibition and fictional anthology, both devoted exclusively to The Little Black Dress are launched, the writer Susie Maguire and style expert Rita Britton join us to discuss the Holy Grail of the dress world.
Little Black Dress: An Anthology of Short Stories by Women Writers, edited by Susie Maguire is published by Polygon, ISBN: 1904598609

The Little Black Dress exhibition is at Urbis, Manchester, April 8 - May 21
