Somali Maternity Care Wednesday 5 June 2002
Edna Adan Ismail is a woman of many firsts. She was the first woman in Somalia to receive training in Western nursing, the first Somalian woman to get a driving licence and this year she opened the first non-profit maternity hospital there.
