Dark skin make-up 18 Sept 2009
Beverley Knight
If you have dark skin - what suits you & how much choice is there?

British Soul Singer, Beverley Knight has just launched her own cosmetics line The K Range. She’s emphasised the starting point of her product strategy was dark to light skin, not the other way round. She says only 15% of shop counters in the UK currently offer anything appropriate for dark-skinned women. Alongside Beverley Knight, Yana Johnson, founder of Yana Cosmetics joins Jenni in the studio to give a live make up demonstration and explain how cosmetics can be customised and applied to suit women with darker skin. Yana won an MBE for services to the cosmetics industry earlier this year.
