Mouth cancer 27 Aug 2009

Recent figures show that oral cancer is on the rise. Leading cancer charities are putting this down to increased alcohol consumption which has doubled since the 1950s. However, there is also a link to HPV  which causes cervical cancer. But how significant is this link? And does this mean there should be guidelines on oral sex activity? Jenni is joined by Dr Kevin Harrington, Oncologist at the Institute of Cancer Research and the Royal Marsden hospital, London. He also represents the British Association of Head and Neck Oncologists
