Male Midlife Crisis 30 July 2008
Is the term just used to ridicule men?

Why when we mention the words ‘midlife crisis’ do we automatically think of a balding middle-aged man driving a sports car? Mil Millington in his new book argues that there is no such thing as the male midlife crisis. He wants to know why when a woman tries to improve herself by dieting and taking up art classes she is encouraged and supported but if a man was to do the same thing he is ridiculed? Jenni discusses the differences with Marie O’Riordan, Editor of Marie Claire magazine and the author Mil Milington.

Instruction for Living Someone Else’s Life by Mil Millington is published by Weidenfeld & Nicolson ISBN-13: 978-0297851257
