Fashion
The growing appeal of vintage clothing 2 June 2008
Jerry Hall wearing Lot 79
As demand increases is it still possible to grab a vintage bargain?

Jerry Hall's decision to sell off a selection of her designer wardrobe for charity, including the white lace dress she wore for her wedding to Mick Jagger, is a sure sign of the ever-growing demand for vintage fashion. Jane is joined by vintage enthusiast and fashion journalist Karen Kay and Oxfam's Anna Thorne who's been involved in the launch of Oxfam Boutiques to find out what the enduring appeal of these clothes is and whether the golden days of grabbing a vintage bargain are over.

Jerry Hall's clothes will feature in the Passion For Fashion sale, hosted by Kerry Taylor Auctions on the 10th June.
