Chocolate Sculptor 25 Mar 2008
Prudence Emma Staite and her chocolate scuptures Chris Moyles' head, roses and the Colosseum in Rome.
Prudence Emma Staite and her edible creations

It may be the most significant festival in the Christian calendar, but Easter also gives the chocoholics among us the excuse to over-indulge. One woman who doesn’t need an excuse to break open a bar of 60 percent Belgian is artist Prudence Emma Staite.  Prudence can create anything from chocolate; small items of wearable jewellery, life-sized people (she recently sculpted Chris Moyles' head) and entire chocolate rooms.

Prudence is the only chocolate sculptor in the world who actively encourages the viewer to devour her creations which have been exhibited all over the world. Self-confessed chocolate addict Jane Gething-Lewis visits Prudence at her studio on a dairy farm in Gloucestershire.
