History
The Man who Changed Woman's Hour 04 Oct 2006
For forty-five years, Woman's Hour was broadcast in the early afternoon. Then in 1991, a brave Controller of Radio 4, Michael Green, decided it would do better in the morning. It caused a national outcry, and a frequently asked question about the network - is why was the programme moved? Even the Queen wanted to know when she came to Broadcasting House earlier this year.

Jenni tracks down Michael Green to ask him why he did it.
