Celebrating a sixtieth birthday  29 September 2006
Woman’s Hour is gearing up for its sixtieth birthday next week.

As the big day approaches Martha ponders the best way to celebrate your 60th. Should you embrace it and throw a huge party for all your friends? Or, do you shut yourself in a darkened room, all alone, and pretend it isn’t happening? No prizes for guessing which Woman’s Hour is doing...

Writer Jan Etherington and Joan Burnie, Associate Editor of the Daily Record join Martha for some suggestions, and to celebrate the current generation of sixty year old women.
