History
Passion for the Forties 23 Aug 2006
It's six week's until Woman's Hour's 60th anniversary on October 7th. Each week until then, the programme will be celebrating a different decade, starting off this week with the 1940s.

For many, it's the decade that meant big bands, big heels and utility frocks. Felicity Finch has been meeting women with a passion for the designs and fashions of the 1940s starting with Deborah Draper whose South London flat immediately transports any visitor back in time.
