Older Women In Film 23 May 2006
In the acting world it's often said that women of a certain age just can't get the roles. Today the British Film Institute are holding a seminar to discuss the representation of older women on the screen. Holly Aylett, the Managing Editor of Vertigo Magazine and Jean Rogers, Vice President of the Equity, join Jenni to consider the lack of major roles for older women and why the parts that do exist seem to be rotated between a rather select group of actors.
