Women choosing removal

A new study from New York shows that the number of women opting for surgery to remove a healthy breast after a cancer diagnosis in the other breast is rising. So what are the factors to take into account when deciding to have a preventative mastectomy and what are the benefits? Jenni talks to Professor Gareth Evans, Consultant in Genetic Medicine, central Manchester hospitals and Wendy Watson who opted for a preventative double mastectomy and now runs the National Hereditary Breast Cancer Helpline.
