Alice Oswald 29th April 2009
Poetry inspired by water

Alice Oswald’s poetry often draws on the landscape around her. 'Dart', her book-length poem about the West Country waterway, has become a national favourite and won her one of poetry’s most coveted awards, the TS Eliot Prize. Her latest work has been inspired by the Severn at night.

'A Sleepwalk on the Severn', by Alice Oswald, is published by Faber and Faber, ISBN 978-0-571-24756-1

There is a special performance of ‘A Sleepwalk on the Severn’ at the Roses Theatre in Tewkesbury on 20th June at 7pm, as part of the Severn Project 2009.
