Social
Cyber stalking 20 January 2009
Safety on the internet

Internet dating is increasing in popularity and can be a very successful way of meeting someone, with one in four who try it reporting a long term relationship as a result. But how safe is it for internet daters? After meeting 'arty dreamer' Greg online and then in person, Jemma thought she might have found Mr Right. But soon she discovered that she had in fact found a cyber stalker. She was bombarded with phone calls and emails, but found that there were no security measures in place to stop him from contacting her. Jane talks to Jemma, and also to Jennifer Perry from e-victims.org.
