The Child Support Agency has had a fairly troubled history since its inception fifteen years ago – with complaints revolving around delays, errors and unsatisfactory enforcement. From today a new organisation ‘The Child Maintenance and Enforcement Commission’ will take over responsibility for the running of the current child maintenance system. Will it deliver a simpler and effective way of assessing, collecting and enforcing child maintenance?
