Is Laughter The Best Medicine?

Laughter and humour are powerful tools in helping people cope and get through difficult situations. And having a good laugh is known to boost the immune system and make us feel better, but how far the benefits laughter has on our health continues to be debated amongst scientists.  Jane Garvey is joined by laughter therapist, Stephanie Davies and GP, Paul Sinha - both also stand up comedians, to ask if the old saying that ‘laughter is the best medicine’ is always true?
