Women Bloggers 09 Oct 2007
Ann Merrill talks about working for the United Nations in Chernobyl.

Another episode in our series on female bloggers who write their online journals in different corners of the world. Ann Merrill comes from Columbus in Ohio and lives in Kiev in the Ukraine. She is a United Nations volunteer with the Chernobyl Recovery and Development programme and she works with over 30 youth centres in rural areas. Her blog is entitled MoldovAnn. This fragment describes a journey she made into the Exclusion Zone of the Chernobyl region with a friend who is a photographer.
