Eve Arnold Thursday 4 July 2002
Eve Arnold is one of only a handful of women ever to join the photographers' co-operative, Magnum.

She's taken, now iconic, photographs of Marilyn Monroe and Malcolm X, as well as documented hardship in America and China.
Eve Arnold tells Jenni why her work's been described as falling "between Marlene Dietrich's legs and the bitter lives of migratory potato pickers."
Eve Arnold: Film Journal, Bloomsbury; ISBN: 0747559171, £25
