The novel ‘Wolf Hall’ by Hilary Mantel has become one of the most acclaimed books of the last ten years. It won the Booker Prize and has seen enormous sales. It tells the story of Thomas Cromwell, the son of a blacksmith, who becomes one of the most powerful men in England. Jenni is joined by Hilary Mantel who’s earlier novel, ‘Beyond Black’ is about to be serialised on Radio 4.
