Antony Worrall Thompson - On cooking for diabetes

More than two million people in the UK have diabetes, many more are believed to have it but are undiagnosed, and seven million people in the UK have a condition called pre-diabetes. The chef Antony Worrall Thompson is pre-diabetic, and he has put together a cook book especially for those with diabetes. He joins Jenni in the studio to cook French Toast with a Crunch, to talk about his condition and how pre-diabetics and diabetics can help their condition by carefully choosing what they eat.
The Essential Diabetes Cookbook, Good healthy eating from around the world by Antony Worrall Thompson, with Louise Blair BSc in association with Diabetes U, published by Kyle Cathie,  ISBN 978 1 85626 870 7.
