Fashionable dogs and their relationship with women.

For many years dogs have been a 'must have' accessory for many fashion icons. From Great Danes and German Shepherds to Poodles and Pekinese, these well groomed pets have graced the covers of many of our glamour magazines. Now, fashion historian Judith Watt has compiled 'Dogs in Vogue: a hundred years of canine chic' - a record of how dogs have been portrayed in the publication. Judith joins Jenni to discuss fashionable dogs and whether we should see them as fashion accessories. She is also joined by the editor of K9 Magazine, Ryan O’Meara, and the former glamour model Caprice Bourret, the proud owner of three Chihuahuas.

Dogs in Vogue by Judith Watt is published by Little Brown ISBN 978-0-316-02713-7
