The crime writer on her latest thriller

The American crime writer, Patricia Cornwell has been writing about her workaholic forensic scientist, Dr Kay Scarpetta, for 20 years. Her latest book "The Scarpetta Factor" sees the familiar cast of characters - Kay, her niece Lucy, her husband, Benton and detective Pete Marino - all struggling to come to terms with traumatic events from their pasts. It’s the seventeenth book in the series and Patricia joins Jenni to talk about her work.

"The Scarpetta Factor" is published by Little Brown ISBN 978-0-316-73316-8
