Flick through the pages of any women’s magazine and you’ll see plenty of fashion adverts amongst the editorial. A new book has brought together some of those clothing adverts from the past century and it reflects the changes not only in fashion, but in art design, the depiction of women and the slogans that have been used to lure us into making a purchase.
