The first woman to ride in the TT races.

As this year's Motorcycle and Scooter Show continues in Birmingham, research indicates that more and more women are enjoying this form of transport. Despite this, the number of women taking part in competitive motorcycling is still very small and no women at all took part in the 2008 races. This makes the achievement of Beryl Swain, the first woman to take part in the race back in 1962, even more remarkable. Ariane Barua, a BBC journalist on the Isle of Man tells her story.
