Caroline Bird 29 October 2008
Caroline Bird
On her latest poetry collection, 'Trouble Came to the Turnip'

Caroline Bird is a 21-year-old poet whose first collection was published when she was just 15. She is in the running for this year’s Dylan Thomas prize, the winner of which is to be announced in just under two weeks' time. Clare Balding talks to Caroline about her writing and her work with the charity Second Sight, writing poetry with children in India who have just regained their sight after a cataract operation.
