Theatre
Thea Sharrock 6 March 2007
Daniel Radcliffe
Jenni will be talking to Thea Sharrock, the director of “Equus”, one of the most talked about theatre productions in recent times.

Since winning the James Menzies-Kitchin Memorial Trust’s Young Director of the Year Award in 2000, Thea has worked with playwrights from Harold Pinter to John Mortimer and when she took over as artistic director of the Southwark Playhouse became the youngest person to run a theatre in the UK.

She’ll be explaining how she has coped with the pressures of directing a high profile show, how she prepared Daniel Radcliffe for his demanding role and why she stands by the decision not to have an age bar - despite the nudity and swearing in the production.
