Woman's Hour At 60 25 Dec 2006
BBC Ed Miller - Woman's Hour 60th anniversary celebration
In 2006, Woman's Hour marked its 60th anniversary. In a special programme recorded earlier this year, an all-star cast from the worlds of comedy, music and poetry join Jenni and Martha to celebrate. There's music from Heather Small and Hayley Westenra, while comedy and wit come in the shape of Jo Caulfield, Jan Ravens and Phill Jupitus; Maureen Lipman joins us as herself and as the character she's performed to great acclaim - Joyce Grenfell. Jackie Kaye delivers a selection of her poems. And we have a special edition of Ladies of Letters, with Prunella Scales and Patricia Routledge.
