Dawn French on new play Smaller 28 Mar 2006
Smaller tells the truth of what life is like living with a crippled arthritic housebound mother and explores the relationship of a dysfunctional family of mother, daughter and sister. Dawn French and Alison Moyet, directed by Kathy Burke, star as the sisters.

Jenni asks Dawn why they commissioned the play in the first place.

Smaller opens 29 March at the Lyric Theatre, London, W1.
