Martin Jarvis
Just William at Large
Monday 28 July - Friday 1 August, 9.45am

Hurray - it's Summer! Martin Jarvis reads five more hilarious stories, brand-new to radio, starring the remarkable character of William Brown himself.

In these five classic tales by Richmal Crompton we find our hero masquerading as a female fortune-teller at the village fete. We also encounter him at the cutting edge of world politics. Is that really him on display at the Fair as a Waxwork? Surely he doesn't substitute a ferret for a missing cat - and disguise himself as his own evil twin brother - to escape the wrath of a frowsty new neighbour?
