Today Programme/Chatham House Lecture
US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice
US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice gave the inaugural Today Programme lecture on 31 March during her reciprocal visit to foreign secretary Jack Straw's Blackburn constituency. The lecture was produced in association with Chatham House.

Secretary Rice discussed America's role in the world. Jack Straw and the former foreign secretary and Chatham House president Lord Hurd also spoke. Today presenter James Naughtie chaired the event and later interviewed Secretary Rice for the programme.
