In this edition, two major sporting events where the hosts are hopeless. It's been a lifetime since a Briton won the men's singles title at Wimbledon and a generation since a Frenchman claimed the Tour de France.

Presenter John Wilson is joined by Tony Hawks and Dom Jolly, comics and keen tennis fans, and Mark Steel who thinks Wimbledon needs a make over. American author Martin Dugard, who followed Lance Armstrong on his record breaking seventh win in the Tour De France, joins the conversation from LA and there's a rare interview with David Storey, former rugby league star and author of the classic novel This Sporting Life.
