29 October 2007

Monday 29 October 2007 15:45-16:00 (Radio 4 FM)

Prof Eamon Duffy presents a series on ten great pontiffs.

Paul III was a great entertainer and Renaissance patron. Having been dubbed Cardinal Petticoat in his early career, he later came to lay the foundations for the Counter Reformation.
