Gyles Brandreth and guests lead listeners through the labyrinth of life, this week examining how to survive a midlife crisis.

Pauline McLynn, once known only as the tea obsessed Mrs Doyle from Father Ted, tells him how she coped with the crisis first precipitated by her co-star Dermott Morgan's death. Alex Wade, a former top flight lawyer and the author of Wrecking Machine: A Tale of Real Fights and White Collars, explains how his crisis lead him to wrecking a restaurant and taking up boxing, before finally recovering and making himself a new life. And psychoanalyst Brett Kahr will be sifiting through the wreckage and providing tips on how to use the midlife crisis to the great enrichment what remains of one's life.
