Finishing post In 2003 BBC Radio 4's Natural History Unit joined forces with the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust to discover more about the behaviour of some of our favourite winter visitors.

Six swans from Arctic Russia were satellite tagged to track their return to Britain. The Today Programme followed their journey, special feature programmes revealed the science of migration and
