"The Living World is the next best thing to being there. Our contributors are skilled naturalists who are able to reveal those fascinating facts about animals and plants that you don't always find in books. It's like having a personal guided tour of the countryside, without needing to leave the house."

| Spectacular views of the rocky shore off Scarlett Beach. |
Isle of Man - The Rocky Shore
Many of us are familiar with an aspect of the British coastline, but considerably fewer with the rocky shore of the Manx Nation.
Naturalist Lionel Kelleway continues his series of special programmes about the wildlife of the Isle of Man as he explores the tops, sides and undersides of Scarlett beach on the south of the island.
With seas rich in plankton and basking sharks, so the shore line is equally satisfying in diverse in-your-face marine wildlife.
