Itchy Skin
Your chance to phone or e-mail the medical experts with Barbara Myers in Check Up. Presenter Barbara Myers gives you the chance to ask the country's top medical experts for their advice on a range of health issues. In the fourth programme of the series, Barbara will be waiting to take your calls about itchy skin.
Eczema, dermatitis, allergic reactions or even pregnancy can all cause itchy skin. More and more people are putting up with often excruciatingly itchy skin rashes, many are diagnosed as having eczema whereas others appear to have developed a rash from something they ate or touched. Not all itchy skin rashes are the same and nor are the cures, but they are all the subject of this week's Check Up. In this week's programme it's your chance to ask your questions about itchy skin what causes these skin irritations and how they can be treated to Dermatologist , Dr Sarah Wakelin from St Mary's NHS Trust in London .
