Broadmoor special
Given unparalleled access to Broadmoor hospital, Dr Raj Persaud goes inside to speak to staff and patients about the treatment and therapies available to them. The high security psychiatric hospital houses and rehabilitates some of Britain's most notorious offenders, as far as the press is concerned.  Among its several hundred patients is Peter Sutcliffe, labelled by the tabloids the Yorkshire Ripper.  Raj looks around the facilities including old Victorian wards, which a recent report by the Commission for Health Improvement criticised as 'totally unfit for purpose'.  He is also shown new facilities including an arts therapy centre.  To view the report visit the Commission for Health Improvement or visit the West London Mental Health NHS Trust

Interviews with staff at the West London Mental Health Trust at Broadmoor include:
Dr Kevin Murray, Associate Medical Director
Paul Robertson, Public Relations Manager
Tony Roche, Musical Director, Education Centre
Emma Ramsden, Senior Drama Therapist, Drama Department
Andrew Payne, Consultant and Clinical Director
Karen Vivian, Clinical Nurse Manager, Banbury Ward
Kenneth Wakatama, Team Leader, Banbury Ward
George Tinsley, Clinical Nurse Leader, Folkstone Ward, Kent House
Dr Gillian McGauley, Consultant Forensic Psychotherapist
