Corinne Bailey Rae appeals on behalf of Pump Aid which is a water and sanitation charity that works with rural communities in southern Africa by establishing supplies of clean water and providing safe sanitation. Pump Aid uses simple, effective technology and locally-sourced materials in the construction of its ingenious Elephant pumps and Elephant toilets. The long term effects of the work will ensure improved health and increased agricultural production.
