Stewart Henderson

Stewart Henderson
Liverpool born poet and broadcaster, Stewart Henderson's first Radio 4 appearance was on the Today programme in 1970 when he performed a poem about love in a cake shop. Over the years, he has become a regular on the network and is now the presenter of the interactive problem-solving programme, Questions Questions.

After service on BBC Radio Scotland's Eddie Mair Live, where Stewart wrote and performed the comic diary The Days of Pearl E Spencer, he joined Radio 4's Going Places as one of its team of reporters. He went on to present various documentaries including Girls With Skirls,Jack Cardiff Speaks,The Warm Up Men and the Sony nominated Hairnets To Goalnets.

He has appeared on a host of other programmes, including Broadcasting House, In Celebration, and Breakaway. As a poet, his best selling collections for children - Who Left Grandad At The Chipshop? and All Things Weird And Wonderful have become great favourites, and The Sunday Times recently referred to his collections as "essential reading".

"I love Questions Questions - we get the chance to address those weird questions of everyday life, from how do you measure happiness to who was Humpty Dumpty? It's real gumshoe radio, with the listeners and us doing the detective work in harness".
