Liz Barclay has presented You and Yours since 1998. She was born and brought up in Northern Ireland. She began her working life as a money advisor and manager for the Citizens Advice Bureau in Norfolk and Suffolk. She's worked in print journalism and wrote a personal finance column for the News of the World.

Her first job at the BBC was as a researcher/producer in the Continuing Education department. For Radio 5 Live she has presented Moneycheck , a daily business programme and After Hours. She has also presented on television, including Pound for Pound and The Small Business Programme, on BBC Two.
