Caz Graham was brought up on a farm in north Cumbria and, after graduating in politics from the University of Bristol, was delighted to start work at BBC Radio Cumbria where she could continue to wear jeans and talk a lot. Since then she has worked in local and national radio and television in both England and Scotland.
She returned to her rural local radio roots in Cumbria during the outbreak of foot and mouth disease in 2001, presenting and producing award-winning programmes and compiling a book documenting the experiences of those who found their lives affected by the epidemic.
Caz currently presents On Your Farm and can also be heard reporting for other Radio 4 programmes like Farming Today, You and Yours and Woman's Hour.
She would like to live in the middle of nowhere, but is forced by an unfeeling husband to keep him and her daughter company in the urban jungle of a small south Lakeland town.
