"Presenting Nice Work is fascinating because of the wide range of stories you hear, and the people you get to meet. Not only do we cover the big picture trends and theories, we get up close to the real experience of work, from the people who actually do it."

Futurology
In this edition of Nice Work Philippa Lamb and her guests look into the future.
Imagine a world where we ALL shop online, buying everything from food to clothes, cars and houses at the click of a mouse; thousands of brand new jobs are created by technical advances in science and communications and an army of support staff will provide the "time-poor" with an array of services.
Factories will disappear from Britain and thousands of managers will be employed to oversee work done in other countries.
That's how some experts think Britain may look in 2025 - others have different ideas but what they're all agreed on is that we're in for some big changes in our working lives.
