Listen to the item

Andy Barber is a musician, cartoonist and poultry fan.

When he heard of the plight and possible extinction of the chickens who live on his local roundabout in Bungay, Suffolk he was moved to write a song about them. It's called, rather snappily, the Bungay Chicken Protest Song.

Andy explains all to David Stafford...

A CD of The Bungay Chicken Protest Song is available from the Post Office, Ditchingham and the Green Dragon pub in Bungay...keep it local!
