Kris' story

Listen to the item

11-year-old Kris from Aberdeen has understandable misgivings about moving on to secondary school in September.

Kris is a tough feisty person and nobody's idea of a victim, yet he's only just won through a period of being picked on at primary school as a result of losing all his hair through the condition known as alopecia.

Kris and his parents, Wendy and Ian, explain how the condition runs in Ian's family and how in Kris' case it manifested itself unusually early.
