Will Grundy

Played by Philip Molloy

Will Grundy
  • Born: 09 Feb 1983
  • Status: Married to Nic
  • Occupation: Gamekeeper

The fact that Will used to hide under the table to gain attention when his brother Edward was a baby was perhaps a portent.

Initially as mischievous but always more constant than Ed, Will is the more stolid of the two Grundy boys, and the one some might say would make the better husband. Emma Carter didn't agree, and strayed from the confines of her new (and as she saw it slightly boring) marriage towards the more risky brother.

There followed utter devastation as the deceit was uncovered and Emma (erroneously) claimed that baby George was Ed's.

The brothers struggled to get past the huge rift as Emma finally settled on her true love Ed.

Will sees his son regularly and has bought a property with an inheritance. But it was meeting and eventually marrying Nic Hanson that enabled him to move on fully from that bleak time.
