Open Book Neglected Classics

placeholder

There's nothing that Open Book likes more than browsing and discovering the forgotten treasures of the literary world - books that have been overlooked or become inexplicably out of vogue.

With Neglected Classics we dug out some of the lost works and forgotten authors of the world of literature.

Ten of our best known authors nominated the books that they felt most deserved to be re-read and reinstated onto our bookshelves.

Radio 4 listeners voted for the winnner which will be dramatised on Radio 4 in 2010.
