Andrew Luck-Baker visited Kenya while making ‘Last Chance for Africa’s Elephants?’ Ivory poaching has been increasing rapidly in parts of the East African country. Andrew went to Tsavo West National Park and Amboseli National Park near the border with Tanzania.
In Amboseli National Park, a matriarch and some of her family group. Mount Kilimanjaro lies to the south of this relatively small protected area. A growing population of 1,500 elephants range in and out of the park.
