BBC Radio 4’s first ever truly interactive radio travel programme.
About the Programme
On the outskirts of remote villages in Africa and South America, you’ll find a gnarled old tree where tips and advice are pinned for passing travellers.
If you've advice to pass on about places to stay, un-missable experiences, avoiding the scams or getting a good deal, then Katie Derham and the Traveller's Tree team would like to hear from you.
Perhaps it's a secluded hideaway, an inspiring weekend course, a view to die for or a favourite restaurant where you enjoyed that meal from heaven.
Or then again there's the B+B hostess from hell, the crumbling hotel, or rip-off that ruined your break. We'd like to hear from you with your warts-and-all travel experiences.
In this series, we'll be looking at everything from well-being holidays to volunteering and virtual tourism. We'
ll also be travelling to "backwater" USA, Dubai and Paris, and heralding the new age of hotel design.
Appearing in this series will be some of our best-loved and most knowledgeable travel writers - and listen out for guest appearances from Laurence Llewellyn-Bowen, Gavin Esler, Alain de Botton and Rosie Millard.
