Libby Purves
This week Libby Purves is joined by Anne Brodie, Sir Jackie Stewart, Ginn Fourie and Letlapa Mphahlele, and Penny Woolcock.
ANNE BRODIE
Anne Brodie is an artist who spent three months last year with the British Antarctic survey. She is taking part in a season of climate change talks at the British Library. POLAR: The Art and Science of Climate Change is at the British Library, 17th October – 26th November 2007. Anne is taking part in POLAR: Fieldwork and Archive Fever, on 19th and 20th November.

SIR JACKIE STEWART
Sir Jackie Stewart is one of the most well known names in motor racing. The winner of three Formula One championship titles and ranked in the top ten drivers of all time. In his autobiography he tells about his battle with dylexia and how he coped with the loss of many of his fellow drivers. Winning is Not Enough is published by Headline.

GINN FOURIE and LETLAPA MPHAHLELE
Ginn Fourie's daughter Lyndi was killed in 1993 by a bomb attack in Heidleberg, near Cape Town. Letlapa Mphahlele was the Director of Operations of Apla (Azanian Peoples Liberation Army) and ordered the attack. They met and somehow reconciled themselves and their story forms part of the 'F-word' Exhibition, from the Forgiveness Project, a collection of words and photographs telling the stories of people involved in astonishing acts of forgiveness. The 
'F-word' Exhibition, will be at Crieff Adventist Church, Perthshire between 13th-20th November.
They will be giving a public lecture in Crieff on 16th November.

PENNY WOOLCOCK
Penny Woolcock is a filmmaker. Her latest work, Exodus, is a film inspired by the biblical story of Exodus, the second book of the Old Testament, and shot in the derelict 'Dreamland' funfair in Margate. 'Exodus' explores timeless themes of identity, migration and great movements of people across the globe in search of a promised land. Exodus is on Channel 4 on 19th November.
